Exodus 10:21-23

The Ninth Plague: Darkness

21Then the Lord said to Moses, a“Stretch out your hand toward heaven, that there may be bdarkness over the land of Egypt, a darkness to be felt.” 22So Moses stretched out his hand toward heaven, and there was pitch darkness in all the land of Egypt three days. 23They did not see one another, nor did anyone rise from his place for three days, but call the people of Israel had light where they lived.

Isaiah 13:10

10 dFor the stars of the heavens and their constellations
will not give their light;
ethe sun will be dark at its rising,
and the moon will not shed its light.

Isaiah 34:4

4 fAll the host of heaven shall rot away,
and the skies roll up like a scroll.
All their host shall fall,
as leaves fall from the vine,
like leaves falling from the fig tree.

Jeremiah 13:16

16 gGive glory to the Lord your God

Ezekiel 30:3

when I break there the yoke bars of Egypt,

she shall be covered by a cloud,
and her daughters shall go into captivity.

Joel 2:2

2 ra day of darkness and gloom,
sa day of clouds and thick darkness!
Like blackness there is spread upon the mountains
ta great and powerful people;

nor will be again after them
through the years of all generations.

Joel 2:31

31 vThe sun shall be turned to darkness, wand the moon to blood, xbefore the great and awesome day of the Lord comes.

Joel 3:15

15 yThe sun and the moon are darkened,
and the stars withdraw their shining.
