Exodus 12:12

12 For ^aI will pass through the land of Egypt that night, and I will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and on ^ball the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments: ^cI am the Lord.

Exodus 12:23

23 ^dFor the Lord will pass through to strike the Egyptians, and when he sees the blood on ^ethe lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and ^fwill not allow the destroyer to enter your houses to strike you.

David Builds an Altar

18 Now ^mthe angel of the Lord had commanded Gad to say to David that David should go up and raise an altar to the Lord on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.

2 Chronicles 32:21

21 And the Lord sent an angel, who cut off all the mighty warriors and commanders and officers in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with ⁿshame of face to his own land. And when he came into the house of his god, some of his own sons struck him down there with the sword.
