Beware of the Leaven of the Pharisees
1In the meantime, pwhen so many thousands of the people had gathered together that they were trampling one another, he began to say to his disciples first, q“Beware of rthe leaven of the Pharisees, swhich is hypocrisy.1 Corinthians 5:6-8
6 tYour boasting is not good. Do you not know that ua little leaven leavens the whole lump? 7Cleanse out the old leaven that you may be a new lump, as you really are unleavened. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. 8Let us therefore celebrate the festival, vnot with the old leaven, wthe leaven of malice and evil, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
