Exodus 12:25-27

25 And when you come to the land that the Lord will give you, ^aas he has promised, you shall keep this service. 26 And ^bwhen your children say to you, ‘What do you mean by this service?’ 27 you shall say, ^c‘It is the sacrifice of the Lord’s Passover, for he passed over the houses of the people of Israel in Egypt, when he struck the Egyptians but spared our houses.’” And the people ^dbowed their heads and worshiped.

Exodus 13:8-9

8 ^eYou shall tell your son on that day, ‘It is because of what the Lord did for me when I came out of Egypt.’ 9 And it shall ^fbe to you as a sign on your hand and as ^ga memorial ^hbetween your eyes, that the law of the Lord may be in your mouth. For with a strong hand the Lord has brought you out of Egypt.

Exodus 13:14-16

14 ⁱAnd when in time to come your son asks you, ‘What does this mean?’ you shall say to him, ^j‘By a strong hand the Lord brought us out of Egypt, from the house of ^kslavery. 15 For when Pharaoh stubbornly refused to let us go, the ^lLord killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man and the firstborn of animals. Therefore I sacrifice to the Lord all the males that first open the womb, but ^mall the firstborn of my sons I redeem.’ 16 ⁿIt shall be as a mark on your hand or frontlets between your eyes, for ^oby a strong hand the Lord brought us out of Egypt.”

Psalms 71:17-18

17 O God, from my youth you have taught me,
and I still proclaim your wondrous deeds.
18 So even to ^pold age and gray hairs,
O God, ^qdo not forsake me,
until I proclaim your might to another generation,
your power to all those to come.

Psalms 78:3-6

3 things that we have heard and known,
that our ^rfathers have told us.
4 We will not ^shide them from their children,
but ^ttell to the coming generation
the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might,
and ^uthe wonders that he has done.
5 He established ^va testimony in ^wJacob
and appointed a law in ^xIsrael,
which he commanded our fathers
to teach to their children,
6 that ^ythe next generation might know them,
the children yet unborn,
and arise and tell them to their children,

Psalms 107:21-22

21 ^zLet them thank the Lord for his steadfast love,
for his wondrous works to the children of man!
22 And let them ^aaoffer sacrifices of thanksgiving,
and ^abtell of his deeds in ^acsongs of joy!

Psalms 107:31-32
