Deuteronomy 4:6-8

Deuteronomy 11:25

25 iNo one shall be able to stand against you. The Lord your God will lay jthe fear of you and the dread of you on all the land that you shall tread, kas he promised you.

The New Generation Circumcised

1 Samuel 18:12-15

12 pSaul was afraid of David because qthe Lord was with him rbut had departed from Saul. 13So Saul removed him from his presence and made him a commander of a thousand. sAnd he went out and came in before the people. 14And David thad success in all his undertakings, ufor the Lord was with him. 15And when Saul saw that vhe had great success, he stood in fearful awe of him.

1 Samuel 18:28-29

28But when Saul saw and knew that wthe Lord was with David, xand that Michal, Saul’s daughter, loved him, 29Saul was even more afraid of David. So Saul was David’s enemy continually.
