33 aThe Egyptians were urgent with the people to send them out of the land in haste. For they said, “We shall all be dead.”Exodus 14:25

6 dKeep them and do them, for ethat will be your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples, who, when they hear all these statutes, will say, ‘Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’ 7For fwhat great nation is there that has ga god so near to it as the Lord our God is to us, whenever we call upon him? 8And what great nation is there, that has statutes and rules so hrighteous as all this law that I set before you today?Deuteronomy 11:25
25 iNo one shall be able to stand against you. The Lord your God will lay jthe fear of you and the dread of you on all the land that you shall tread, kas he promised you.Joshua 5:1
The New Generation Circumcised
1As soon as all the kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan to the west, and all the kings of the Canaanites lwho were by the sea, mheard that the Lord had dried up the waters of the Jordan for the people of Israel until they had crossed over, their hearts nmelted and othere was no longer any spirit in them because of the people of Israel.1 Samuel 18:12-15
12 pSaul was afraid of David because qthe Lord was with him rbut had departed from Saul. 13So Saul removed him from his presence and made him a commander of a thousand. sAnd he went out and came in before the people. 14And David thad success in all his undertakings, ufor the Lord was with him. 15And when Saul saw that vhe had great success, he stood in fearful awe of him.1 Samuel 18:28-29
28But when Saul saw and knew that wthe Lord was with David, xand that Michal, Saul’s daughter, loved him, 29Saul was even more afraid of David. So Saul was David’s enemy continually.
