Exodus 12:7

7“Then they shall take some of the blood and put it on the atwo doorposts and the lintel of the houses in which they eat it.

Exodus 12:13

13 bThe blood shall be a sign for you, on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and no plague will befall you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt.

Exodus 12:23

23 cFor the Lord will pass through to strike the Egyptians, and when he sees the blood on dthe lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and ewill not allow the destroyer to enter your houses to strike you.

Hebrews 9:19

19For when every commandment of the law had been declared by Moses to all the people, he took fthe blood of calves and goats, gwith water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people,

Hebrews 12:24
