Exodus 13:2

2 aConsecrate to me all the firstborn. Whatever is the first to open the womb among the people of Israel, both of man and of beast, is mine.”

Exodus 13:12-15

12 byou shall set apart to the Lord all that first opens the womb. All the firstborn of your animals that are males shall be the Lord’s. 13 cEvery firstborn of a donkey you shall redeem with a lamb, or if you will not redeem it you shall break its neck. Every dfirstborn of man among your sons you shall redeem. 14 eAnd when in time to come your son asks you, ‘What does this mean?’ you shall say to him, f‘By a strong hand the Lord brought us out of Egypt, from the house of gslavery. 15For when Pharaoh stubbornly refused to let us go, the hLord killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man and the firstborn of animals. Therefore I sacrifice to the Lord all the males that first open the womb, but iall the firstborn of my sons I redeem.’

Exodus 34:19

19 jAll that open the womb are mine, all your male

Leviticus 27:26-27

26But a lfirstborn of animals, which as a firstborn belongs to the Lord, no man may dedicate; whether ox or sheep, it is the Lord’s. 27And if it is an unclean animal, then he shall buy it back at the valuation, mand add a fifth to it; or, if it is not redeemed, it shall be sold at the valuation.

Numbers 18:15-16

15 nEverything that opens the womb of all flesh, whether man or beast, which they offer to the Lord, shall be yours. Nevertheless, othe firstborn of man you shall redeem, and the firstborn of unclean animals you shall redeem. 16And their redemption price p(at a month old you shall redeem them) you shall fix at five shekels
A  shekel was about 2/5 ounce or 11 grams
in silver, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, rwhich is twenty gerahs.

Deuteronomy 12:6

6and there you shall bring your burnt offerings and your sacrifices, syour tithes and the contribution that you present, your vow offerings, your freewill offerings, and the tfirstborn of your herd and of your flock.
