Exodus 14:11-12

11They asaid to Moses, “Is it because there are no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the wilderness? What have you done to us in bringing us out of Egypt? 12Is not this what bwe said to you in Egypt: ‘Leave us alone that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness.”

Exodus 16:3

3and the people of Israel said to them, cWould that we had died by the hand of the Lord in the land of Egypt, dwhen we sat by the meat pots and ate bread to the full, for you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger.”

Exodus 17:2

2 eTherefore the people quarreled with Moses and said, “Give us water to drink.” And Moses said to them, “Why do you quarrel with me? Why do you ftest the Lord?”

Exodus 32:1

The Golden Calf

1When the people saw that Moses gdelayed to come down from the mountain, the people gathered themselves together to Aaron and said to him, hUp, make us gods who shall igo before us. As for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.”

Numbers 14:2-4

2And all the people of Israel jgrumbled against Moses and Aaron. The whole congregation said to them, “Would that we had died in the land of Egypt! Or kwould that we had died in this wilderness! 3Why is the Lord bringing us into this land, to fall by the sword? lOur wives and our little ones will become a prey. Would it not be better for us to go back to Egypt?” 4And they said to one another, m“Let us choose a leader and ngo back to Egypt.”

Numbers 16:2-3

2And they rose up before Moses, with a number of the people of Israel, 250 chiefs of the congregation, chosen from the assembly, well-known men. 3 oThey assembled themselves together against Moses and against Aaron and said to them, p“You have gone too far! For qall in the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the Lord is among them. Why then do you exalt yourselves above the assembly of the Lord?”

Numbers 16:41

41But on the next day all the congregation of the people of Israel rgrumbled against Moses and against Aaron, saying, “You have killed the people of the Lord.”

Deuteronomy 9:24

24 sYou have been rebellious against the Lord from the day that I knew you.
