Exodus 14:11-12

11They asaid to Moses, “Is it because there are no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the wilderness? What have you done to us in bringing us out of Egypt? 12Is not this what bwe said to you in Egypt: ‘Leave us alone that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness.”

Exodus 16:3

3and the people of Israel said to them, cWould that we had died by the hand of the Lord in the land of Egypt, dwhen we sat by the meat pots and ate bread to the full, for you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger.”

Exodus 17:3

3But the people thirsted there for water, and ethe people grumbled against Moses and said, “Why did you bring us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our livestock with thirst?”

Numbers 11:5

5 fWe remember the fish we ate in Egypt that cost nothing, the cucumbers, the melons, the leeks, the onions, and the garlic.

Numbers 14:3-4

3Why is the Lord bringing us into this land, to fall by the sword? gOur wives and our little ones will become a prey. Would it not be better for us to go back to Egypt?” 4And they said to one another, h“Let us choose a leader and igo back to Egypt.”

Numbers 21:5

5And the people jspoke against God and against Moses, kWhy have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and lwe loathe this worthless food.”

Nehemiah 9:17

17They refused to obey mand were not mindful of the wonders that you performed among them, but they stiffened their neck and appointed a leader to return to their slavery in Egypt. But you are a God ready to forgive, ngracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, and did not forsake them.
