Exodus 14:11-12

11They asaid to Moses, “Is it because there are no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the wilderness? What have you done to us in bringing us out of Egypt? 12Is not this what bwe said to you in Egypt: ‘Leave us alone that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness.”

Exodus 17:3

3But the people thirsted there for water, and cthe people grumbled against Moses and said, “Why did you bring us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our livestock with thirst?”

Numbers 20:4-5

4Why have you brought the assembly of the Lord into this wilderness, that we should die here, both we and our cattle? 5And dwhy have you made us come up out of Egypt to bring us to this evil place? It is no place for grain or figs or vines or pomegranates, and there is no water to drink.”

Matthew 17:17

17And Jesus answered, O faithless and etwisted generation, how long am I to be with you? fHow long am I to bear with you? Bring him here to me.”

Matthew 17:20

20He said to them, gBecause of your little faith. For htruly, I say to you, iif you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, jyou will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and knothing will be impossible for you.”
Some manuscripts insert verse 21: But this kind never comes out except by prayer and fasting


Mark 8:17-18

17And mJesus, aware of this, said to them, Why are you discussing the fact that you have no bread? nDo you not yet perceive oor understand? pAre your hearts hardened? 18 qHaving eyes do you not see, and having ears do you not hear? And do you not remember?
