Exodus 14:12

12Is not this what awe said to you in Egypt: ‘Leave us alone that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness.”

Exodus 14:30-31

30Thus the Lord bsaved Israel that day from the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore. 31 cIsrael saw the great power that the Lord used against the Egyptians, so the people feared the Lord, and they dbelieved in the Lord and in his servant Moses.

Psalms 106:7-10

7Our fathers, when they were in Egypt,
did not consider your wondrous works;
they edid not remember the abundance of your steadfast love,
but frebelled by the sea, at the Red Sea.
8Yet he saved them gfor his name’s sake,
hthat he might make known his mighty power.
9He irebuked the Red Sea, and it jbecame dry,
and he kled them through the deep as through a desert.
10So he lsaved them from the hand of the foe
and mredeemed them from the power of the enemy.
