Exodus 14:12

12 Is not this what ^awe said to you in Egypt: ‘Leave us alone that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness.”

Exodus 14:30-31

30 Thus the Lord ^bsaved Israel that day from the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore. 31 ^cIsrael saw the great power that the Lord used against the Egyptians, so the people feared the Lord, and they ^dbelieved in the Lord and in his servant Moses.

Psalms 106:7-10

7 Our fathers, when they were in Egypt,
did not consider your wondrous works;
they ^edid not remember the abundance of your steadfast love,
but ^frebelled by the sea, at the Red Sea.
8 Yet he saved them ^gfor his name’s sake,
^hthat he might make known his mighty power.
9 He ⁱrebuked the Red Sea, and it ^jbecame dry,
and he ^kled them through the deep as through a desert.
10 So he ^lsaved them from the hand of the foe
and ^mredeemed them from the power of the enemy.
