2 dThe Lord is my strength and my esong,
and he has become fmy salvation;
this is my God, and I will praise him,
gmy father’s God, and hI will exalt him.

jthe Lord is his name.

like a strong man shouting because of wine.

Psalms 110:5-6

5 The Lord is at your lright hand;

Isaiah 59:16-19

16 sHe saw that there was no man,
and wondered that there was no one to intercede;
then his own arm brought him salvation,
and his righteousness upheld him.
17 tHe put on righteousness as a breastplate,
and a helmet of salvation on his head;
he put on garments of vengeance for clothing,
and wrapped himself in uzeal as a cloak.
18 vAccording to their deeds, so will he repay,
wrath to his adversaries, repayment to his enemies;
wto the coastlands he will render repayment.
19 xSo they shall fear the name of the Lord from the west,
and his glory from the rising of the sun;
yfor he will come like a rushing stream,
Hebrew  a narrow river

which the wind of the Lord drives.

The Lord’s Day of Vengeance

1 Who is this who comes from aaEdom,
in crimsoned garments from abBozrah,
he who is splendid in his apparel,
acmarching in the greatness of his strength?
“It is I, speaking in righteousness,
mighty to save.”
2 Why is your adapparel red,
and your garments like his aewho treads in the winepress?
3 af“I have trodden the winepress alone,
agand from the peoples no one was with me;
I trod them in my anger
and trampled them in my wrath;
their lifeblood
Or  their juice; also verse 6
spattered on my garments,
and stained all my apparel.
4 aiFor the day of vengeance was in my heart,
and my year of redemption
Or the year of my redeemed
had come.

Jeremiah 25:30

30“You, therefore, shall prophesy against them all these words, and say to them:

ak“‘The Lord will roar from on high,
and from his holy habitation utter his voice;
he will roar mightily against his fold,
aland shout, like those who tread grapes,
against all the inhabitants of the earth.
