Exodus 15:14-15

14 aThe peoples have heard; they tremble;
pangs have seized the inhabitants of Philistia.
15Now are the chiefs of Edom bdismayed;
trembling seizes the leaders of cMoab;
dall the inhabitants of Canaan have melted away.

Joshua 2:9-11

9and said to the men, “I know that the Lord has given you the land, eand that the fear of you has fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land fmelt away before you. 10For we have heard how the Lord gdried up the water of the Red Sea before you when you came out of Egypt, and hwhat you did to the two kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan, to iSihon and Og, whom you devoted to destruction.
That is, set apart ( devoted) as an offering to the Lord (for destruction)
11And kas soon as we heard it, lour hearts melted, and there was no spirit left in any man because of you, for mthe Lord your God, he is God in the heavens above and on the earth beneath.

Psalms 48:4-6

4 For behold, nthe kings assembled;
they came on together.
5As soon as they saw it, they were astounded;
they were in panic; they took to flight.
6 oTrembling took hold of them there,
anguish pas of a woman in labor.

Revelation of John 18:10

10 qThey will stand far off, in fear of her torment, and say,

Alas! Alas! rYou great city,
you mighty city, Babylon!
For sin a single hour your judgment has come.”
