Exodus 15:26

26 saying, ^a“If you will diligently listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the ^bdiseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, ^cyour healer.”

Numbers 20:12

12 And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Because ^dyou did not believe in me, ^eto uphold me as holy in the eyes of the people of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land that I have given them.”

Numbers 20:24

24 ^f“Let Aaron be gathered to his people, for he shall not enter the land that I have given to the people of Israel, because ^gyou rebelled against my command at the waters of Meribah.

Numbers 21:6-9

6 ^hThen the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and ⁱthey bit the people, so that many people of Israel died. 7 ^jAnd the people came to Moses and said, “We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you. ^kPray to the Lord, that he take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people. 8 And the Lord said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent and set it on a pole, and everyone who is bitten, when he sees it, shall live.” 9 So ^lMoses made a bronze ^{▼▼Or copper} serpent and set it on a pole. And if a serpent bit anyone, he would look at the bronze serpent and live.

2 Samuel 12:14-18

14 Nevertheless, because by this deed you have utterly ⁿscorned the Lord, ^{▼▼Masoretic Text the enemies of the Lord; Dead Sea Scroll the word of the Lord} the child who is born to you shall die.” 15 Then Nathan went to his house.

David’s Child Dies

And the Lord afflicted the child that Uriah’s wife bore to David, and he became sick. 16 David therefore sought God on behalf of the child. And David ^pfasted and went in ^qand lay all night on the ground. 17 And the elders of his house stood beside him, to raise him from the ground, but he would not, nor did he eat food with them. 18 On the seventh day the child died. And the servants of David were afraid to tell him that the child was dead, for they said, “Behold, while the child was yet alive, we spoke to him, and he did not listen to us. How then can we say to him the child is dead? He may do himself some harm.”

1 Kings 13:21-24

21 And he cried to the man of God who came from Judah, “Thus says the Lord, ‘Because you have disobeyed the word of the Lord and have not kept the command that the Lord your God commanded you, 22 but have come back and have eaten bread and drunk water in the place of which he said to you, “Eat no bread and drink no water,” your body shall not come to the tomb of your fathers.’” 23 And after he had eaten bread and drunk, he saddled the donkey for the prophet whom he had brought back. 24 And as he went away ^ra lion met him on the road and killed him. And his body was thrown in the road, and the donkey stood beside it; the lion also stood beside the body.

1 Corinthians 11:32

32 But when we are judged by the Lord, ^swe are disciplined ^{▼▼Or when we are judged we are being disciplined by the Lord} so that we may not be ^ucondemned along with the world.
