Exodus 15:9-10

9The enemy said, a‘I will pursue, I will overtake,
I bwill divide the spoil, my desire shall have its fill of them.
I will draw my sword; my hand shall destroy them.’
10You cblew with your wind; the dsea covered them;
they sank like lead in the mighty waters.

18He will vgive back the fruit of his toil
and will not wswallow it down;
from the profit of his trading
he will get no enjoyment.
19For he has crushed and abandoned the poor;
he has seized a house that he did not build.
20 Because he xknew no ycontentment in his belly,
zhe will not let anything in which he delights escape him.
21There was nothing left after he had eaten;
therefore his prosperity will not endure.
22In the fullness of his sufficiency he will be in distress;
the hand of everyone in misery will come against him.
23To fill his belly to the full,

26Utter darkness is laid up for his treasures;
aja fire not fanned will devour him;
what is left in his tent will be consumed.
27 akThe heavens will reveal his iniquity,
and the earth will rise up against him.
28The possessions of his house will be carried away,
dragged off in the day of God’s
Hebrew his
wrath.
29 amThis is the wicked man’s portion from God,
anthe heritage decreed for him by God.”

Psalms 37:10

10 In aojust a little while, the wicked will be no more;
though you look carefully at aphis place, he will not be there.

Isaiah 10:16-19

16Therefore the Lord God of hosts
will send wasting sickness among his aqstout warriors,
and under his glory ara burning will be kindled,
like the burning of fire.
17 asThe light of Israel will become a fire,
and athis Holy One a flame,
and auit will burn and devour
his thorns and briers avin one day.
18The glory of awhis forest and of his axfruitful land
the Lord will destroy, both soul and body,
and it will be as when a sick man wastes away.
19The remnant of the trees of his forest will be so few
that a child can write them down.

Isaiah 10:33-34

33 Behold, the Lord God of hosts
aywill lop azthe boughs with terrifying power;
the great in height will be hewn down,
and the lofty will be brought low.
34He will cut down bathe thickets of the forest with an axe,
and bbLebanon will fall by the Majestic One.

Acts 12:22-23
