Exodus 15:9-10

9The enemy said, a‘I will pursue, I will overtake,
I bwill divide the spoil, my desire shall have its fill of them.
I will draw my sword; my hand shall destroy them.’
10You cblew with your wind; the dsea covered them;
they sank like lead in the mighty waters.

Joshua 8:20-22

20So when the men of Ai looked back, behold, the smoke of the city went up to heaven, and they had no power to flee this way or that, for the people who fled to the wilderness turned back against the pursuers. 21And when Joshua and all Israel saw that the ambush had captured the city, and that the smoke of the city went up, then they turned back and struck down the men of Ai. 22And the others came out from the city against them, so they were in the midst of Israel, some on this side, and some on that side. And Israel struck them down, until there was eleft none that survived or escaped.

Judges 20:41-42

41Then the men of Israel turned, and the men of Benjamin were dismayed, ffor they saw that disaster was close upon them. 42Therefore they turned their backs before the men of Israel in gthe direction of the wilderness, but the battle overtook them. And those who came out of the cities were destroying them in their midst.

2 Chronicles 32:19-21

19And they spoke of the God of Jerusalem as they spoke of the gods of the peoples of the earth, which are the work of men’s hands.

The Lord Delivers Jerusalem

20Then Hezekiah the king and Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, prayed because of this and cried to heaven. 21And the Lord sent an angel, who cut off all the mighty warriors and commanders and officers in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with hshame of face to his own land. And when he came into the house of his god, some of his own sons struck him down there with the sword.

Psalms 73:18-20

18 Truly you set them in islippery places;
you make them fall to ruin.
19How they are destroyed jin a moment,
swept away utterly by kterrors!
20Like la dream when one awakes,
O Lord, when myou rouse yourself, you despise them as phantoms.
