Exodus 16:15-22

15When the people of Israel saw it, they said to one another, a“What is it?”
Or “It is manna.” Hebrew man hu
For they cdid not know what it was. And Moses said to them, d“It is the bread that the Lord has given you to eat.
16This is what the Lord has commanded: ‘Gather of it, each one of you, as much as he can eat. You shall each take an eomer,
An  omer was about 2 quarts or 2 liters
according to the number of the persons that each of you has in his tent.’”
17And the people of Israel did so. They gathered, some more, some less. 18But when they measured it with an omer, gwhoever gathered much had nothing left over, and whoever gathered little had no lack. Each of them gathered as much as he could eat. 19And Moses said to them, “Let no one leave any of it over till the morning.” 20But they did not listen to Moses. Some left part of it till the morning, and hit bred worms and stank. And Moses was angry with them. 21Morning by morning they gathered it, each as much as he could eat; but when the sun grew hot, it melted.

22On ithe sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers each. And when all the leaders of the congregation came and told Moses,

Proverbs 30:8

8Remove far from me falsehood and lying;
give me neither poverty nor riches;
feed me with the food that is jneedful for me,

Isaiah 33:16

16he will dwell on the heights;
his place of defense will be the fortresses of rocks;
khis bread will be given him; his water will be sure.

Matthew 6:11

11 lGive us mthis day our daily bread,
Or  our bread for tomorrow

Matthew 6:34

34 oTherefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

John 6:27-33

27 pDo not work for the food that perishes, but for qthe food that endures to eternal life, which rthe Son of Man will give to you. For on shim God the Father has tset his seal.” 28Then they said to him, “What must we do, to be doing uthe works of God?” 29Jesus answered them, This is the work of God, vthat you believe in him whom whe has sent.” 30So they said to him, xThen what sign do you do, that we may see and believe you? What work do you perform? 31 yOur fathers ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written, z‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’” 32Jesus then said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven. 33For the bread of God is aahe who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”
