Exodus 16:16-18

16This is what the Lord has commanded: ‘Gather of it, each one of you, as much as he can eat. You shall each take an aomer,
An  omer was about 2 quarts or 2 liters
according to the number of the persons that each of you has in his tent.’”
17And the people of Israel did so. They gathered, some more, some less. 18But when they measured it with an omer, cwhoever gathered much had nothing left over, and whoever gathered little had no lack. Each of them gathered as much as he could eat.

John 6:27

27 dDo not work for the food that perishes, but for ethe food that endures to eternal life, which fthe Son of Man will give to you. For on ghim God the Father has hset his seal.”

John 6:33-58

33For the bread of God is ihe who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” 34They said to him, jSir, give us this bread always.”

35Jesus said to them, kI am the bread of life; lwhoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. 36But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe. 37 mAll that nthe Father gives me will come to me, and owhoever comes to me I will never cast out. 38For pI have come down from heaven, not to do qmy own will but rthe will of him swho sent me. 39And tthis is the will of him who sent me, uthat I should lose nothing of vall that he has given me, but wraise it up on the last day. 40For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who xlooks on the Son and ybelieves in him zshould have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”

41So the Jews grumbled about him, because he said, aaI am the bread that came down from heaven.” 42They said, abIs not this Jesus, acthe son of Joseph, whose father and mother adwe know? How does he now say, ‘I have come down from heaven?” 43Jesus answered them, “Do not grumble among yourselves. 44No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me aedraws him. And afI will raise him up on the last day. 45It is written in the Prophets, agAnd they will all be ahtaught by God.’ aiEveryone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me 46 ajnot that anyone has seen the Father except akhe who is from God; he alhas seen the Father. 47Truly, truly, I say to you, amwhoever believes has eternal life. 48 anI am the bread of life. 49 aoYour fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and apthey died. 50 aqThis is the bread that comes down from heaven, so that one may eat of it arand not die. 51I am the living bread asthat came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And the bread that I will give atfor the life of the world is aumy flesh.”

52The Jews then avdisputed among themselves, saying, awHow can this man give us his flesh to eat?” 53So Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of axthe Son of Man and drink his blood, you ayhave no life in you. 54Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood azhas eternal life, and baI will raise him up on the last day. 55For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. 56Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood bbabides in me, and I in him. 57As bcthe living Father bdsent me, and beI live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will live because of me. 58 bfThis is the bread that came down from heaven, not like the bread
Greek lacks  the bread
the fathers ate, and died. Whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.”
