Exodus 16:2-3

2And the whole congregation of the people of Israel agrumbled against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness, 3and the people of Israel said to them, bWould that we had died by the hand of the Lord in the land of Egypt, cwhen we sat by the meat pots and ate bread to the full, for you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger.”

Deuteronomy 17:16

16Only he must not acquire many dhorses for himself or cause the people eto return to Egypt in order to acquire many horses, since the Lord has said to you, f‘You shall never return that way again.’

Nehemiah 9:17

17They refused to obey gand were not mindful of the wonders that you performed among them, but they stiffened their neck and appointed a leader to return to their slavery in Egypt. But you are a God ready to forgive, hgracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, and did not forsake them.
