29See! The Lord has given you the Sabbath; therefore on the sixth day he gives you bread for two days. Remain each of you in his place; let no one go out of his place on the seventh day.”

Exodus 20:8

8 aRemember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Exodus 31:13-17

13“You are to speak to the people of Israel and say, ‘Above all you shall keep my Sabbaths, for this is a sign between me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I, the Lord, sanctify you. 14You shall keep the Sabbath, because it is holy for you. Everyone who profanes it shall be put to death. bWhoever does any work on it, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. 15 cSix days shall work be done, but dthe seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, holy to the Lord. eWhoever does any work on the Sabbath day shall be put to death. 16Therefore the people of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, observing the Sabbath throughout their generations, as a covenant forever. 17 fIt is a sign forever between me and the people of Israel that gin six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and hon the seventh day he rested and was refreshed.’”

Leviticus 26:2

2 iYou shall keep my Sabbaths and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord.

Isaiah 56:4-6

4For thus says the Lord:
“To the eunuchs jwho keep my Sabbaths,
who choose the things that please me
and hold fast my covenant,
5 kI will give in my house and within my walls
a lmonument and a name
better than sons and daughters;
mI will give them an everlasting name
that shall not be cut off.
6 “And nthe foreigners who join themselves to the Lord,
to minister to him, to love the name of the Lord,
and to be his servants,
everyone owho keeps the Sabbath and does not profane it,
and holds fast my covenant

Isaiah 58:13

13 pIf you turn back your foot from the Sabbath,
from doing your pleasure

on my holy day,
and call the Sabbath a delight
and the holy day of the Lord honorable;
if you honor it, not going your own ways,
or seeking ryour own pleasure,
Or pursuing your own business
or talking idly;
Hebrew  or speaking a word

Ezekiel 20:12

12Moreover, I gave them umy Sabbaths, as a sign between me and them, vthat they might know that I am the Lord who sanctifies them.

Ezekiel 22:8

8 wYou have despised my holy things and xprofaned my Sabbaths.
