Exodus 16:7-8

7 and in the morning you shall see the ^aglory of the Lord, because he has heard your grumbling against the Lord. For ^bwhat are we, that you grumble against us?” 8 And Moses said, “When the Lord gives you in the evening meat to eat and in the morning bread to the full, because the Lord has heard your grumbling that you grumble against him— ^cwhat are we? Your grumbling is not ^dagainst us but against the Lord.”

Deuteronomy 1:27

27 And ^eyou murmured in your tents and said, ‘Because the Lord ^fhated us he has brought us out of the land of Egypt, ^gto give us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us.
