Exodus 17:14

14Then the Lord said to Moses, “Write this as a memorial in a book and recite it in the ears of aJoshua, that bI will utterly blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven.”

Deuteronomy 31:19

19Now therefore write cthis song and dteach it to the people of Israel. Put it in their mouths, that this song may be ea witness for me against the people of Israel.

Deuteronomy 31:22-27

22So Moses wrote this song the same day and taught it to the people of Israel.

23 fAnd the Lord

commissioned Joshua the son of Nun and said, h“Be strong and courageous, for you shall bring the people of Israel into the land that I swore to give them. iI will be with you.”

24When Moses had finished jwriting the words of this law in a book to the very end, 25Moses commanded kthe Levites who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord, 26Take this Book of the Law land put it by the side of the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, that it may be there for ma witness against you. 27For I know how rebellious and nstubborn you are. Behold, even today while I am yet alive with you, oyou have been rebellious against the Lord. How much more after my death!

Job 19:23-24

23 “Oh that my words were written!
Oh that they were pinscribed in a book!
24Oh that with an iron qpen and lead
they were engraved in the rock forever!

Jeremiah 36:2-4

2Take ra scroll and swrite on it all the words that I have spoken to you against Israel and tJudah uand all the nations, vfrom the day I spoke to you, from the days of Josiah until today. 3 wIt may be that the house of Judah will hear all the disaster that I intend to do to them, xso that every one may turn from his evil way, and ythat I may forgive their iniquity and their sin.”

4Then Jeremiah called zBaruch the son of Neriah, and aaBaruch wrote on aba scroll at the dictation of Jeremiah all the words of the Lord that he had spoken to him.

Jeremiah 36:32

32Then Jeremiah took another scroll and gave it to acBaruch the scribe, the son of Neriah, who adwrote on it at the dictation of Jeremiah all the words of the scroll that Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire. And many similar words were added to them.

Jeremiah 51:60-64

60 aeJeremiah wrote in a book all the disaster that should come upon Babylon, afall these words that are written concerning Babylon. 61And Jeremiah said to Seraiah: “When you come to Babylon, see that you read all these words, 62and say, ‘O Lord, you have said concerning this place that you will cut it off, so agthat nothing shall dwell in it, neither man nor beast, and it shall be ahdesolate forever.’ 63When you finish reading this book, ai, ajtie a stone to it akand cast it into the midst of the Euphrates, 64and say, alThus shall Babylon sink, to rise no more, because of the disaster that I am bringing upon her, amand they shall become exhausted.’”
