Exodus 17:7

7 And he called the name of the place ^aMassah ^{▼▼ Massah means testing} and ^cMeribah, ^{▼▼ Meribah means quarreling} because of the quarreling of the people of Israel, and because they tested the Lord by saying, “Is the Lord among us or not?”

Deuteronomy 32:51

51 ^ebecause you broke faith with me in the midst of the people of Israel at the waters of Meribah-kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin, and because you did not treat me as holy in the midst of the people of Israel.
