Exodus 17:9-13

9So Moses said to aJoshua, “Choose for us men, and go out and fight with Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with bthe staff of God in my hand.” 10So cJoshua did as Moses told him, and fought with Amalek, while Moses, Aaron, and dHur went up to the top of the hill. 11Whenever Moses eheld up his hand, Israel prevailed, and whenever he lowered his hand, Amalek prevailed. 12But Moseshands grew weary, so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it, while Aaron and fHur held up his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side. So his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. 13And gJoshua overwhelmed Amalek and his people with the sword.

Exodus 24:13

13So Moses rose with his assistant hJoshua, and Moses went up iinto the mountain of God.

Exodus 32:17

17When jJoshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said to Moses, “There is a noise of war in the camp.”

Numbers 11:28

28And kJoshua the son of Nun, the assistant of Moses from his youth, said, “My lord Moses, lstop them.”

Numbers 27:18-22

18So the Lord said to Moses, “Take mJoshua the son of Nun, a man nin whom is the Spirit, and olay your hand on him. 19Make him stand before Eleazar the priest and all the congregation, and you shall pcommission him in their sight. 20You shall invest him with some of your authority, qthat all the congregation of the people of Israel may obey. 21And he shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall inquire for him rby the judgment of the Urim before the Lord. At his word they shall go out, and at his word they shall come in, both he and all the people of Israel with him, the whole congregation.” 22And Moses did as the Lord commanded him. He took Joshua and made him stand before Eleazar the priest and the whole congregation,

Deuteronomy 31:7-8

7Then sMoses summoned Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, t“Be strong and courageous, for you shall go with this people into the land that the Lord has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall put them in possession of it. 8It is the Lord uwho goes before you. He will be with you; vhe will not leave you or forsake you. wDo not fear or be dismayed.”

Deuteronomy 31:14

Joshua Commissioned to Lead Israel

14And the Lord said to Moses, xBehold, the days approach when you must die. Call Joshua and present yourselves in the tent of meeting, that yI may commission him.” And Moses and Joshua went and presented themselves in the tent of meeting.

Deuteronomy 31:23

Deuteronomy 34:9

9And Joshua the son of Nun was full of adthe spirit of wisdom, for aeMoses had laid his hands on him. So afthe people of Israel obeyed him and did as the Lord had commanded Moses.
