15 bHe who walks righteously and speaks uprightly,
who despises the gain of oppressions,
who shakes his hands, lest they hold a bribe,
who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed
cand shuts his eyes from looking on evil,
16he will dwell on the heights;
his place of defense will be the fortresses of rocks;
dhis bread will be given him; his water will be sure.

Jeremiah 22:15-17

15Do you think you are a king
because you compete in cedar?
Did not your father eat and drink
and edo justice and righteousness?
fThen it was well with him.
16 gHe judged the cause of the poor and needy;
hthen it was well.
Is not this ito know me?
declares the Lord.
17But you have eyes and heart
only for your dishonest gain,
jfor shedding innocent blood,
and for practicing oppression and violence.”
