10the Lord said to Moses, “Go to the people and aconsecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them bwash their garments

Exodus 19:14-15

14So Moses cwent down from the mountain to the people and dconsecrated the people; eand they washed their garments. 15And he said to the people, “Be ready for the fthird day; gdo not go near a woman.”

2 Chronicles 29:5

5and said to them, “Hear me, Levites! Now hconsecrate yourselves, and consecrate the house of the Lord, the God of your fathers, and carry out the filth from the Holy Place.

2 Chronicles 29:15

2 Chronicles 30:17-20

Therefore the Levites had to slaughter the Passover lamb for everyone who was not clean, to consecrate it to the Lord. 18For a majority of the people, qmany of them from Ephraim, Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet they ate the Passover otherwise rthan as prescribed. For Hezekiah had prayed for them, saying, “May the good Lord pardon everyone 19 swho sets his heart to seek God, the Lord, the God of his fathers, even though not according to the sanctuary’s rules of cleanness.”

Job 1:5

5And when the days of the feast had run their course, Job would send and uconsecrate them, and he would rise early in the morning and voffer burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said, “It may be that my children have sinned, and wcursed
The Hebrew word bless is used euphemistically for curse in 1:5, 11; 2:5, 9
God in their hearts.” Thus Job did continually.
