Exodus 19:16
16On the morning of the athird day there were bthunders and lightnings and ca thick cloud on the mountain and a very loud dtrumpet blast, so that all the people in the camp etrembled.Exodus 19:18
18Now fMount Sinai was wrapped in smoke because the Lord had descended on it in fire. The smoke of it went up like the smoke of a kiln, and gthe whole mountain trembled greatly.Deuteronomy 5:23-25
23And has soon as you heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, while the mountain was burning with fire, you came near to me, all the heads of your tribes, and your elders. 24And you said, ‘Behold, the Lord our God has shown us his glory and igreatness, and jwe have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire. This day we have seen God speak with man, and man kstill live. 25Now therefore why should we die? For this great fire will consume us. lIf we hear the voice of the Lord our God any more, we shall die.
