Exodus 19:4-6

4 a'You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how bI bore you on eagleswings and brought you to myself. 5Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be cmy treasured possession among all peoples, for dall the earth is mine; 6and you shall be to me a ekingdom of priests and fa holy nation'. Deuteronomy 9:4

4 g“Do not say in your heart, after the Lord your God has thrust them out before you, ‘It is because of my righteousness that the Lord has brought me in to possess this land,’ whereas it is hbecause of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord is driving them out before you.

Psalms 105:10-15

Ezekiel 20:5-10

5and say to them, Thus says the Lord God: ahOn the day when I chose Israel, aiI swore

to the offspring of the house of Jacob, akmaking myself known to them in the land of Egypt; alI swore to them, saying, I am the Lord your God.
6On that day I swore to them that amI would bring them out of the land of Egypt into a land that I had searched out for them, a land anflowing with milk and honey, aothe most glorious of all lands. 7And I said to them, ' apCast away the detestable things aqyour eyes feast on, every one of you, and do not defile yourselves with arthe idols of Egypt; asI am the Lord your God.' 8 atBut they rebelled against me and were not willing to listen to me. auNone of them cast away the detestable things their eyes feasted on, nor did they forsake the idols of Egypt.

“Then I said I would pour out my wrath upon them avand spend my anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.
9 awBut I acted axfor the sake of my name, aythat it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations among whom they lived, azin whose sight I made myself known to them in bringing them out of the land of Egypt. 10 baSo I led them out of the land of Egypt and brought them into the wilderness.

John 5:25

25Truly, truly, I say to you, bban hour is coming, and is now here, when bcthe dead will hear bdthe voice of the Son of God, and those who hear bewill live.

Romans 9:15
