Exodus 19:5-6
5Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be amy treasured possession among all peoples, for ball the earth is mine; 6and you shall be to me a ckingdom of priests and da holy nation'. These are the words that you shall speak to the people of Israel.”Deuteronomy 26:18-19
18And the Lord has declared today that you are ea people for his treasured possession, as he has promised you, and that you are to keep all his commandments, 19and that he will set you in praise and in fame and in honor fhigh above all nations gthat he has made, and that you shall be ha people holy to the Lord your God, as he promised.”Malachi 3:16-17
The Book of Remembrance
16Then those who feared the Lord ispoke with one another. The Lord paid attention and heard them, and ja book of remembrance was written before him of those who feared the Lord and esteemed his name. 17“They shall be mine, says the Lord of hosts, kin the day when I make up lmy treasured possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his son who serves him.Romans 9:8
8This means that it is not the children of the flesh who are the children of God, but mthe children of the promise are counted as offspring.
