Exodus 2:23-25

God Hears Israel’s Groaning

23 aDuring those many days the king of Egypt died, and the people of Israel bgroaned because of their slavery and cried out for help. cTheir cry for rescue from slavery came up to God. 24And dGod heard their groaning, and God eremembered his covenant with fAbraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. 25God gsaw the people of Israel—and God hknew.
