Exodus 20:24

24An altar of earth you shall make for me and sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and your peace offerings, your sheep and your oxen. aIn every place where I cause my name to be remembered I will come to you and bbless you.

Deuteronomy 12:5

5But you shall seek cthe place that the Lord your God will choose out of all your tribes to put his name and make his habitation

Deuteronomy 12:11

11then to ethe place that the Lord your God will choose, to make his name dwell there, there you shall bring all that I command you: your burnt offerings and your sacrifices, fyour tithes and the contribution that you present, and all your finest vow offerings that you vow to the Lord.

Deuteronomy 14:23-24

23And before the Lord your God, in the place that he will choose, to make his name dwell there, gyou shall eat the tithe of your grain, of your wine, and of your oil, hand the firstborn of your herd and flock, ithat you may learn to fear the Lord your God always. 24And if the way is too long for you, so that you are not able to carry the tithe, when the Lord your God blesses you, because jthe place is too far from you, which the Lord your God chooses, to set his name there,

Rehoboam Reigns in Judah

21 nNow Rehoboam the son of Solomon reigned in Judah. Rehoboam was forty-one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, othe city that the Lord had chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, to put his name there. pHis mother’s name was Naamah the Ammonite.
