5 aYou shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am ba jealous God, cvisiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me,

Numbers 16:27-33

27So they got away from the dwelling of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram. And Dathan and Abiram came out and stood dat the door of their tents, together with their wives, their sons, and their little ones. 28And Moses said, “Hereby you shall know that the Lord has sent me to do all these works, and that it has not been eof my own accord. 29If these men die as all men die, or if they are visited by the fate of all mankind, fthen the Lord has not sent me. 30But if the Lord creates something new, and gthe ground opens its mouth and swallows them up with all that belongs to them, and they hgo down alive into Sheol, then you shall know that these men have despised the Lord.”

31 iAnd as soon as he had finished speaking all these words, the ground under them split apart. 32And the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households and jall the people who belonged to Korah and all their goods. 33So they and all that belonged to them went down alive into Sheol, and the earth closed over them, and kthey perished from the midst of the assembly.

Joshua 7:24-25

24And Joshua and all Israel with him took Achan the son of Zerah, and the silver and the cloak and the bar of gold, and his sons and daughters and his oxen and donkeys and sheep and his tent and all that he had. And they brought them up to the lValley of Achor. 25And Joshua said, “Why did you mbring trouble on us? The Lord brings trouble on you today.” And all Israel nstoned him with stones. oThey burned them with fire and stoned them with stones.

2 Kings 5:27

27Therefore the leprosy of Naaman shall cling to you and to your descendants forever.” So he went out from his presence pa leper, like snow.

Psalms 109:8-15

8May his qdays be few;
may ranother take his soffice!

14May acthe iniquity of his fathers be remembered before the Lord,
and let not the sin of his mother be adblotted out!

that he may afcut off the memory of them from the earth!

Jeremiah 20:6

6And you, agPashhur, and all who dwell in your house, shall go into captivity. To Babylon you shall go, and there you shall die, and there you shall be buried, you and all your friends, ahto whom you have prophesied falsely.”
