Exodus 20:8-10

8 ^a“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 ^bSix days you shall labor, and do all your work, 10 but the ^cseventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the ^dsojourner who is within your gates.

Nehemiah 13:15

15 In those days I saw in Judah people treading winepresses ^eon the Sabbath, and bringing in heaps of grain and loading them on donkeys, and also wine, grapes, figs, and all kinds of loads, ^fwhich they brought into Jerusalem on the Sabbath day. And ^gI warned them on the day when they sold food.

Jeremiah 17:21

21 Thus says the Lord: Take care for the sake of your lives, and ^hdo not bear a burden on the Sabbath day or bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem.
