Exodus 22:22-24

22 ^aYou shall not mistreat any widow or fatherless child. 23 If you do mistreat them, and they ^bcry out to me, I will surely ^chear their cry, 24 and my wrath will burn, and I will kill you with the sword, and ^dyour wives shall become widows and your children fatherless.

Psalms 10:14

14 But you do see, for you ^enote mischief and vexation,
that you may take it into your hands;
to you the helpless ^fcommits himself;
you have been ^gthe helper of the fatherless.

Proverbs 22:22-23
