Exodus 22:26-27

26 aIf ever you take your neighbor’s cloak in pledge, you shall return it to him before the sun goes down, 27for that is his only covering, and it is his cloak for his body; in what else shall he sleep? And if he bcries to me, I will hear, for I am ccompassionate.

Job 24:7-8

7They dlie all night naked, without clothing,
and have no covering in the cold.
8They are wet with the rain of the mountains
and ecling to the rock for lack of shelter.

Job 29:11-13

11When the ear heard, it called me blessed,
and when the eye saw, it approved,

and the fatherless who had none to help him.

Job 31:16-20

12oppresses the poor and needy, xcommits robbery, ydoes not restore the pledge, zlifts up his eyes to the idols, aacommits abomination,

Ezekiel 18:16

16does not oppress anyone, abexacts no pledge, accommits no robbery, adbut gives his bread to the hungry aeand covers the naked with a garment,

Ezekiel 33:15

15if the wicked afrestores the pledge, aggives back what he has taken by robbery, and walks ahin the statutes of life, not doing injustice, he shall surely live; he shall not die.
