26 ^aIf ever you take your neighbor’s cloak in pledge, you shall return it to him before the sun goes down, 27 for that is his only covering, and it is his cloak for his body; in what else shall he sleep? And if he ^bcries to me, I will hear, for I am ^ccompassionate.

Job 24:7-8

7 They ^dlie all night naked, without clothing,
and have no covering in the cold.
8 They are wet with the rain of the mountains
and ^ecling to the rock for lack of shelter.

Job 29:11-13

11 When the ear heard, it called me blessed,
and when the eye saw, it approved,

and the fatherless who had none to help him.

Ezekiel 18:7

12 oppresses the poor and needy, ^xcommits robbery, ^ydoes not restore the pledge, ^zlifts up his eyes to the idols, ^aacommits abomination,

Ezekiel 33:15
