1 a“You shall not spread a false report. You shall not join hands with a wicked man to be a bmalicious witness.

Leviticus 19:11

11 c“You shall not steal; dyou shall not deal falsely; you shall not lie to one another.

Deuteronomy 19:16-21

16If ea malicious witness arises to accuse a person of wrongdoing, 17then both parties to the dispute shall appear before the Lord, fbefore the priests and the judges who are in office in those days. 18The judges shall ginquire diligently, and if the witness is a false witness and has accused his brother falsely, 19 hthen you shall do to him as he had meant to do to his brother.
