Exodus 23:12

Exodus 35:2-3

2 ^bSix days work shall be done, but on the seventh day you shall have a Sabbath of solemn rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on it shall be put to death. 3 ^cYou shall kindle no fire in all your dwelling places on the Sabbath day.”

Ezekiel 20:12

12 Moreover, I gave them ^dmy Sabbaths, as a sign between me and them, ^ethat they might know that I am the Lord who sanctifies them.

Luke 13:14-16

14 But ^fthe ruler of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus ^ghad healed on the Sabbath, said to the people, ^h“There are six days in which work ought to be done. Come on those days and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day.” 15 Then the Lord answered him, “You hypocrites! ⁱDoes not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or his donkey from the manger and lead it away to water it? 16 And ought not this woman, ^ja daughter of Abraham whom ^kSatan bound for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?”

Luke 23:56
