Exodus 23:12

12 aSix days you shall do your work, but on the seventh day you shall rest; that your ox and your donkey may have rest, and the son of your servant woman, and the alien, may be refreshed.

Deuteronomy 5:14

14but bthe seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter or your male servant or your female servant, or your ox or your donkey or any of your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates, cthat your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you.

Nehemiah 9:13-14

13 dYou came down on Mount Sinai eand spoke with them from heaven and gave them fright rules and true laws, good statutes and commandments, 14 gand you made known to them your holy Sabbath and commanded them commandments and statutes and a law by Moses your servant.

Isaiah 58:13

13 hIf you turn back your foot from the Sabbath,
from doing your pleasure

on my holy day,
and call the Sabbath a delight
and the holy day of the Lord honorable;
if you honor it, not going your own ways,

Ezekiel 20:12

12Moreover, I gave them mmy Sabbaths, as a sign between me and them, nthat they might know that I am the Lord who sanctifies them.

Ezekiel 20:20

20and okeep my Sabbaths holy that pthey may be a sign between me and you, that you may know that I am the Lord your God.'

Luke 6:9
