Exodus 23:15

15 aYou shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread. As I commanded you, you shall eat unleavened bread for seven days at the appointed time in the month of bAbib, for in it you came out of Egypt. cNone shall appear before me empty-handed.

Deuteronomy 16:16

16 dThree times a year all your males shall appear before the Lord your God at the place that he will choose: at the Feast of Unleavened Bread, at the Feast of Weeks, and at the Feast of Booths. eThey shall not appear before the Lord empty-handed.

1 Samuel 9:7-8

7Then Saul said to his servant, “But if we go, fwhat can we bring the man? For the bread in our sacks is gone, and there is no present to bring to the man of God. What do we have?” 8The servant answered Saul again, “Here, I have with me a quarter of a shekel
A  shekel was about 2/5 ounce or 11 grams
of silver, and I will give it to the man of God to tell us our way.”

2 Samuel 24:24

24But the king said to Araunah, “No, but I will buy it from you for a price. I will not offer burnt offerings to the Lord my God that cost me nothing.” So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels
