Exodus 23:24

24you shall anot bow down to their gods nor serve them, bnor do as they do, but cyou shall utterly overthrow them and break their dpillars in pieces.

Exodus 23:31-33

31 eAnd I will set your border from the Red Sea to the Sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness to the Euphrates,
Hebrew  the River
for gI will give the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and you shall drive them out before you.
32 hYou shall make no covenant with them and their gods. 33They shall not dwell in your land, lest they make you sin against me; for if you serve their gods, iit will surely be a snare to you.”

Exodus 34:12-17

12 jTake care, lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land to which you go, lest it become a ksnare in your midst. 13You shall ltear down their altars and mbreak their pillars and cut down their nAsherim 14(for oyou shall worship no other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God), 15 plest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and when they qwhore after their gods and sacrifice to their gods and ryou are invited, you eat of his sacrifice, 16and you take of stheir daughters for your sons, and their daughters twhore after their gods and make your sons whore after their gods.

17 u“You shall not make for yourself any gods of cast metal.

Deuteronomy 7:2-5

2 vand when the Lord your God gives them over to you, and you defeat them, then you must wdevote them to complete destruction.
That is, set apart ( devote) as an offering to the Lord (for destruction)
yYou shall make no covenant with them and show no mercy to them.
3 zYou shall not intermarry with them, giving your daughters to their sons or taking their daughters for your sons, 4for they would turn away your sons from following me, to serve other gods. aaThen the anger of the Lord would be kindled against you, and he would destroy you abquickly. 5But thus shall you deal with them: acyou shall break down their altars and dash in pieces their adpillars and chop down their aeAsherim and afburn their carved images with fire.

Deuteronomy 7:25-26

25The carved images of their gods agyou shall burn with fire. You ahshall not covet the silver or the gold that is on them or take it for yourselves, lest you be aiensnared by it, for it is an abomination to the Lord your God. 26And you shall not bring an abominable thing into your house and become devoted to destruction
That is, set apart ( devoted) as an offering to the Lord (for destruction); twice in this verse
like it. You shall utterly detest and abhor it, akfor it is devoted to destruction.

Deuteronomy 12:2-3

2 alYou shall surely destroy all the places where the nations whom you shall dispossess served their gods, amon the high mountains and on the hills and under every green tree. 3You shall tear down their altars and dash in pieces antheir pillars and burn their aoAsherim with fire. You shall chop down the carved images of their gods and apdestroy their name out of that place.

Deuteronomy 12:30-31

30take care aqthat you be not ensnared to follow them, after they have been destroyed before you, and that you do not inquire about their gods, saying, ‘How did these nations serve their gods?—that I also may do the same.’ 31 arYou shall not worship the Lord your God in that way, for every asabominable thing that the Lord hates they have done for their gods, for atthey even burn their sons and their daughters in the fire to their gods.

Deuteronomy 20:16-18

16But auin the cities of these peoples that the Lord your God is giving you for an inheritance, you shall save alive nothing that breathes, 17but avyou shall devote them to complete destruction,
That is, set apart ( devote) as an offering to the Lord (for destruction)
the Hittites and the Amorites, the Canaanites and the Perizzites, the Hivites and the Jebusites, as the Lord your God has commanded,
18that axthey may not teach you to do according to all their abominable practices that they have done for their gods, and so you aysin against the Lord your God.
