Deuteronomy 28:11

Psalms 144:13-14

13 ^hmay our granaries be full,

Ecclesiastes 9:1-2

Death Comes to All

1 But all this I laid to heart, examining it all, ^lhow the righteous and the wise and their deeds are ^min the hand of God. Whether it is love or hate, man does not know; both are before him. 2 ⁿIt is the same for all, since ^othe same event happens to the righteous and the wicked, to the good and the evil, ^{▼▼Septuagint, Syriac, Vulgate; Hebrew lacks and the evil} to the clean and the unclean, to him who sacrifices and him who does not sacrifice. As the good one is, so is the sinner, and he who ^qswears is as he who shuns an oath.

Luke 12:16-21

16 And he told them a parable, saying, ^r“The land of a rich man produced plentifully, 17 and he thought to himself, ^s‘What shall I do, for I have nowhere to store my crops?’ 18 And he said, ‘I will do this: I will tear down my ^tbarns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. 19 And I will say to my soul, “Soul, you have ample goods laid up ^ufor many years; relax, ^veat, drink, be merry.”’ 20 But God said to him, ^w‘Fool! ^xThis night ^yyour soul is required of you, and the things you have prepared, ^zwhose will they be?’ 21 So is the one ^aawho lays up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God.”
