Exodus 23:28-29

28 And ^aI will send hornets ^{▼▼Or the hornet} before you, which shall drive out the Hivites, the Canaanites, and the Hittites from before you. 29 ^cI will not drive them out from before you in one year, lest the land become desolate and the wild beasts multiply against you.

Deuteronomy 7:2

2 ^dand when the Lord your God gives them over to you, and you defeat them, then you must ^edevote them to complete destruction. ^{▼▼That is, set apart ( devote) as an offering to the Lord (for destruction)} ^gYou shall make no covenant with them and show no mercy to them.

Deuteronomy 9:3

3 Know therefore today that he who ^hgoes over before you ⁱas a consuming fire is the Lord your God. He will destroy them and subdue them before you. ^jSo you shall drive them out and make them perish quickly, as the Lord has promised you.

Joshua 10:8-10

Joshua 11:6-8

6 And the Lord said to Joshua, ^p“Do not be afraid of them, for tomorrow at this time I will give over all of them, slain, to Israel. You shall ^qhamstring their horses and burn their ^rchariots with fire.” 7 So Joshua and all his warriors came ^ssuddenly against them by the waters of Merom and fell upon them. 8 And the Lord gave them into the hand of Israel, who struck them and chased them as far as ^tGreat Sidon and ^uMisrephoth-maim, and eastward as far as the Valley of ^vMizpeh. And they struck them until he left none remaining.

1 Samuel 14:6

6 Jonathan said to the young man who carried his armor, “Come, let us go over to the garrison of these ^wuncircumcised. It may be that the Lord will work for us, ^xfor nothing can hinder the Lord from saving by many or by few.”

1 Samuel 14:10

10 But if they say, ‘Come up to us,’ then we will go up, for the Lord has given them into our hand. And this shall be the sign to us.”
