Exodus 23:28-31

28And aI will send hornets
Or the hornet
before you, which shall drive out the Hivites, the Canaanites, and the Hittites from before you.
29 cI will not drive them out from before you in one year, lest the land become desolate and the wild beasts multiply against you. 30Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased and possess the land. 31 dAnd I will set your border from the Red Sea to the Sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness to the Euphrates,
Hebrew  the River
for fI will give the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and you shall drive them out before you.

Numbers 21:24-35

24 gAnd Israel defeated him with the edge of the sword and took possession of his land from the Arnon to the hJabbok, as far as to the Ammonites, for the border of the Ammonites was strong. 25And Israel took all these cities, and Israel settled in all the cities of the Amorites, in Heshbon, and in all its villages. 26For Heshbon was the city of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of Moab and taken all his land out of his hand, as far as the Arnon. 27Therefore the iballad singers say,

Come to jHeshbon, let it be built;
let the city of Sihon be established.
28For kfire came out from lHeshbon,
flame from the city of Sihon.
It devoured mAr of Moab,
and swallowed
Septuagint; Hebrew the lords of
the heights of the Arnon.
29 oWoe to you, O Moab!
You are undone, O people of pChemosh!
He has made his sons fugitives,
and his daughters captives,
to an Amorite king, Sihon.
30So we overthrew them;
Heshbon, as far as qDibon, perished;
and we laid waste as far as Nophah;
fire spread as far as rMedeba.”
Compare Samaritan and Septuagint; Hebrew  and we laid waste as far as Nophah, which is as far as Medeba

King Og Defeated

31Thus Israel lived in the land of the Amorites. 32And Moses sent to spy out tJazer, and they captured its villages and dispossessed the Amorites who were there. 33Then they turned and went up by the way to Bashan. And Og the king of Bashan came out against them, he and all his people, to battle uat Edrei. 34 vBut the Lord said to Moses, “Do not fear him, for I have given him into your hand, and all his people, and his land. And wyou shall do to him as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived at Heshbon.” 35So they defeated him and his sons and all his people, until he had no survivor left. And they possessed his land.

Deuteronomy 2:33

33And xthe Lord our God gave him over to us, and ywe defeated him and his sons and all his people.

Deuteronomy 3:3-11

3So the Lord our God gave into our hand Og also, the king of Bashan, and all his people, zand we struck him down until he had no survivor left. 4And we took all his cities at that time—there was not a city that we did not take from them—sixty cities, aathe whole region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan. 5All these were cities fortified with high walls, gates, and bars, besides very many unwalled villages. 6And abwe devoted them to destruction,
That is, set apart ( devoted) as an offering to the Lord (for destruction); twice in this verse
as we did to Sihon the king of Heshbon, devoting to destruction every adcity, men, women, and children.
7But all the livestock and the spoil of the cities we took as our plunder. 8So we took the land at that time out of the hand of the two kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan, from the Valley of the Arnon to Mount Hermon 9(the Sidonians call aeHermon afSirion, while the Amorites call it agSenir), 10all the cities of the ahtableland and all Gilead and all Bashan, as far as aiSalecah and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan. 11(For ajonly Og the king of Bashan was left of the remnant of akthe Rephaim. Behold, his bed was a bed of iron. Is it not in alRabbah of the Ammonites? Nine cubits
A  cubit was about 18 inches or 45 centimeters
was its length, and four cubits its breadth, according to the ancommon cubit.

Deuteronomy 3:21

21And I commanded apJoshua at that time, ‘Your eyes have seen all that the Lord your God has done to these two kings. So will the Lord do to all the kingdoms into which you are crossing.

Deuteronomy 7:2

2 aqand when the Lord your God gives them over to you, and you defeat them, then you must ardevote them to complete destruction.
That is, set apart ( devote) as an offering to the Lord (for destruction)
atYou shall make no covenant with them and show no mercy to them.

Deuteronomy 7:16

16And auyou shall consume all the peoples that the Lord your God will give over to you. avYour eye shall not pity them, neither shall you serve their gods, for that would be awa snare to you.
