Exodus 23:29-31

29 aI will not drive them out from before you in one year, lest the land become desolate and the wild beasts multiply against you. 30Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased and possess the land. 31 bAnd I will set your border from the Red Sea to the Sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness to the Euphrates,

for dI will give the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and you shall drive them out before you.

Deuteronomy 7:1-2

A Chosen People

1“When the eLord your God brings you into the land that you are entering to take possession of it, and clears away many nations before you, fthe Hittites, the Girgashites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations gmore numerous and mightier than you, 2 hand when the Lord your God gives them over to you, and you defeat them, then you must idevote them to complete destruction.
That is, set apart ( devote) as an offering to the Lord (for destruction)
kYou shall make no covenant with them and show no mercy to them.

Deuteronomy 7:16

16And lyou shall consume all the peoples that the Lord your God will give over to you. mYour eye shall not pity them, neither shall you serve their gods, for that would be na snare to you.

Deuteronomy 7:23-24

23 oBut the Lord your God will give them over to you and throw them into great confusion, until they are destroyed. 24And phe will give their kings into your hand, and you shall qmake their name perish from under heaven. rNo one shall be able to stand against you until you have destroyed them.

Isaiah 41:10-16

10fear not, for I am with you;
be not dismayed, for I am your God;

16 aayou shall winnow them, and abthe wind shall carry them away,
and the tempest shall scatter them.
acAnd you shall rejoice in the Lord;
in the Holy One of Israel you shall glory.
