Joshua 15:1-12

The Allotment for Judah

1 The allotment for the tribe of the people of Judah according to their clans reached southward ^dto the boundary of Edom, to ^ethe wilderness of Zin at the farthest south. 2 And their south boundary ran from the end of the ^fSalt Sea, from the bay that faces southward. 3 It goes out southward of ^gthe ascent of Akrabbim, passes along to Zin, and goes up south of Kadesh-barnea, along by Hezron, up to Addar, turns about to Karka, 4 passes along to Azmon, goes out by ^hthe Brook of Egypt, and comes to its end at the sea. This shall be your south boundary. 5 And the east boundary is the ⁱSalt Sea, to the mouth of the Jordan. And the boundary on the north side runs from the bay of the sea at the mouth of the Jordan. 6 And the boundary goes up to ^jBeth-hoglah and passes along north of ^kBeth-arabah. And the boundary goes up to ^lthe stone of Bohan the son of Reuben. 7 And the boundary goes up to Debir from ^mthe Valley of Achor, and so northward, turning toward Gilgal, which is opposite ⁿthe ascent of Adummim, which is on the south side of the valley. And the boundary passes along to the waters of ^oEn-shemesh and ends at ^pEn-rogel. 8 Then the boundary goes up by ^qthe Valley of the Son of Hinnom at the southern shoulder of the Jebusite ( ^rthat is, Jerusalem). And the boundary goes up to the top of the mountain that lies over against the Valley of Hinnom, on the west, at the northern end of the Valley ^sof Rephaim. 9 Then the boundary extends from the top of the mountain ^tto the spring of the waters of Nephtoah, and from there to the cities of Mount Ephron. Then the boundary bends around to Baalah ( ^uthat is, Kiriath-jearim). 10 And the boundary circles west of Baalah to Mount Seir, passes along to the northern shoulder of Mount Jearim (that is, Chesalon), and goes down to ^vBeth-shemesh and passes along by ^wTimnah. 11 The boundary goes out ^xto the shoulder of the hill north of Ekron, then the boundary bends around to Shikkeron and passes along to Mount ^yBaalah and goes out to Jabneel. Then the boundary comes to an end at the sea. 12 And the west boundary was ^zthe Great Sea with its coastline. This is the boundary around the people of Judah according to their clans.

Ezekiel 47:13

Division of the Land

13 Thus says the Lord God: “This is the boundary ^{▼▼Probable reading; Hebrew The valley of the boundary} by which ^abyou shall divide the land for inheritance among the twelve tribes of Israel. ^acJoseph shall have two portions.

Ezekiel 47:19-23

19 “On the south side, it shall run from ^adTamar as far as ^aethe waters of Meribah-kadesh, from there along ^afthe Brook of Egypt ^{▼▼Hebrew lacks of Egypt} to ^ahthe Great Sea. This shall be the south side.

20 “On the west side, the Great Sea shall be the boundary to a point ^aiopposite Lebo-hamath. This shall be the west side.

21 ^aj“So you shall divide this land among you according to the tribes of Israel. 22 ^akYou shall allot it as an inheritance for yourselves and ^alfor the sojourners who reside among you and have had children among you. ^amThey shall be to you as native-born children of Israel. With you they shall be allotted an inheritance among the tribes of Israel. 23 In whatever tribe the sojourner resides, there you shall assign him his inheritance, declares the Lord God.
