Exodus 23:33

33 They shall not dwell in your land, lest they make you sin against me; for if you serve their gods, ^ait will surely be a snare to you.”

12 ^bTake care, lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land to which you go, lest it become a ^csnare in your midst.

3 So now I say, ^dI will not drive them out before you, but they shall become ^ethorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare to you.”
