6 a“You shall not pervert the justice due to your poor in his lawsuit. 7 bKeep far from a false charge, and cdo not kill the innocent and righteous, for dI will not acquit the wicked. 8 eAnd you shall take no bribe, for a bribe blinds the clear-sighted and subverts the cause of those who are in the right.

9 f“You shall not oppress a sojourner. You know the heart of a sojourner, for you were sojourners in the land of Egypt.

Numbers 16:15

15And Moses was very angry and said to the Lord, g“Do not respect their offering. hI have not taken one donkey from them, and I have not harmed one of them.”

Deuteronomy 16:19

they catch men.

their houses are full of deceit;
therefore they have become great and rich;
28 rthey have grown fat and sleek.
They know no bounds in deeds of evil;
sthey judge not with justice
the cause of the fatherless, to make it prosper,
and they do not defend the rights of the needy.

Micah 7:3-4

3 tTheir hands are on what is evil, to do it well;
uthe prince and vthe judge ask for a bribe,
and the great man utters the evil desire of his soul;
thus they weave it together.
4The best of them is wlike a brier,
the most upright of them a thorn hedge.
The day of xyour watchmen, of your punishment, has come;
