Exodus 24:4

4And aMoses wrote down all the words of the Lord. He rose early in the morning and built an altar at the foot of the mountain, and twelve bpillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.

Joshua 4:3-4

3and command them, saying, ‘Take ctwelve stones from here out of the midst of the Jordan, from the very place dwhere the priestsfeet stood firmly, and bring them over with you and lay them down in ethe place where you lodge tonight.’” 4Then Joshua called the twelve men from the people of Israel, whom he had appointed, a man from each tribe.

20And fthose twelve stones, which they took out of the Jordan, Joshua set up at Gilgal.

Ezra 6:17

17And qjoin them one to another into one stick, that rthey may become sone in your hand. 18And when tyour people say to you, u‘Will you not tell us what you mean by these?’ 19say to them, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am about to take vthe stick of Joseph (that is in the hand of Ephraim) and the tribes of Israel associated with him. And I will join with it the wstick of Judah,

and ymake them one stick, zthat they may be one in my hand.
20When the sticks on which you write are in your hand aabefore their eyes, 21then say to them, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, abI will take the people of Israel from the nations among which they have gone, and will gather them from all around, and acbring them to their own land. 22And adI will make them one nation in the land, on aethe mountains of Israel. And afone king shall be king over them all, and they shall be no longer agtwo nations, and no longer divided into two kingdoms.

Ezekiel 47:13
