5And he sent young men of the people of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen to the Lord.

Leviticus 3

Laws for Peace Offerings

1“If his offering is aa sacrifice of peace offering, if he offers an animal from the herd, male or female, bhe shall offer it cwithout blemish before the Lord. 2And dhe shall lay his hand on the head of his offering and kill it at the entrance of the tent of meeting, and Aaron’s sons the priests shall throw the blood against the sides of the altar. 3And from the sacrifice of the peace offering, as a food offering to the Lord, he shall offer ethe fat covering the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails, 4 fand the two kidneys with the fat that is on them at the loins, and the long lobe of the liver that he shall remove with the kidneys. 5Then Aaron’s sons gshall burn it on the altar on top of the burnt offering, which is on the wood on the fire; it is a food offering with a pleasing aroma to the Lord.

6“If his offering for a sacrifice of peace offering to the Lord is an animal from the flock, male or female, he shall offer it hwithout blemish. 7If he offers a lamb for his offering, then he shall offer it before the Lord, 8lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it in front of the tent of meeting; and Aaron’s sons shall throw its blood against the sides of the altar. 9Then from the sacrifice of the peace offering he shall offer as a food offering to the Lord its fat; he shall remove the whole ifat tail, cut off close to the backbone, and the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails 10and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them at the loins and the long lobe of the liver that he shall remove jwith the kidneys. 11And the priest shall burn it on the altar as ka food offering to the Lord.

12“If his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before the Lord 13and lay his hand on its head and kill it in front of the tent of meeting, and the sons of Aaron shall throw its blood against the sides of the altar. 14Then he shall offer from it, as his offering for a food offering to the Lord, the fat covering the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails 15and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them at the loins and the long lobe of the liver that he shall remove lwith the kidneys. 16And the priest shall burn them on the altar as a mfood offering with a pleasing aroma. nAll fat is the Lord’s. 17It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations, in all your dwelling places, that you eat neither ofat nor pblood.”

Leviticus 7:16

16But qif the sacrifice of his offering is a vow offering or a freewill offering, it shall be eaten on the day that he offers his sacrifice, and on the next day what remains of it shall be eaten.

Leviticus 22:21

21And when anyone roffers a sacrifice of peace offerings to the Lord sto fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering from the herd or from the flock, to be accepted it must be perfect; there shall be no blemish in it.

2 Chronicles 31:2

2And Hezekiah appointed tthe divisions of the priests and of the Levites, division by division, each according to his service, the priests and the Levites, ufor burnt offerings and peace offerings, to minister in the gates of the camp of the Lord and to give thanks and praise.

Ezekiel 45:15-17

15And one sheep from every flock of two hundred, from the watering places of Israel for grain offering, burnt offering, and peace offerings, vto make atonement for them, declares the Lord God. 16All the people of the land shall be obliged to give this offering to the prince in Israel. 17 wIt shall be the prince’s duty to furnish the burnt offerings, grain offerings, and drink offerings, at the feasts, the new moons, and the Sabbaths, all the appointed feasts of the house of Israel: he shall provide the sin offerings, grain offerings, burnt offerings, and peace offerings, to make atonement on behalf of the house of Israel.

Ezekiel 46:2

2 xThe prince shall enter by the vestibule of the gate from outside, and shall take his stand by ythe post of the gate. zThe priests shall offer his burnt offering and his peace offerings, and he shall worship at aathe threshold of the gate. Then he shall go out, but the gate shall not be shut until evening.

Ezekiel 46:12

12When the prince provides aba freewill offering, either a burnt offering or peace offerings as a freewill offering to the Lord, acthe gate facing east shall be opened for him. And he shall offer his burnt offering or his peace offerings adas he does on the Sabbath day. Then he shall go out, and after he has gone out the gate shall be shut.
