Exodus 24:5-6

5And he sent young men of the people of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen to the Lord. 6And aMoses took half of the blood and put it in basins, and half of the blood he threw against the altar.

Exodus 24:8-11

8 bAnd Moses took the blood and threw it on the people and said, “Behold the blood of the covenant that the Lord has made with you in accordance with all these words.”

9Then Moses and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and cseventy of the elders of Israel dwent up, 10and they esaw the God of Israel. There was under his feet as it were a pavement of fsapphire stone, like the very heaven for clearness. 11And he did not lay his hand on the chief men of the people of Israel; they beheld God, and gate and drank.

Leviticus 1:2-3

2Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, hWhen any one of you brings an offering to the Lord, you shall bring your offering of livestock from the herd or from the flock.

3“If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer ia male without blemish. He shall bring it to the entrance of the tent of meeting, that he may be accepted before the Lord.

Leviticus 1:10

10If his gift for a burnt offering is from the flock, from the sheep or goats, he shall bring a male without blemish,

Leviticus 3:6

6“If his offering for a sacrifice of peace offering to the Lord is an animal from the flock, male or female, he shall offer it jwithout blemish.

Leviticus 16:14-18

14And khe shall take some of the blood of the bull and sprinkle it with his finger on the front of the mercy seat on the east side, and in front of the mercy seat he shall sprinkle some of the blood with his finger seven times.

15 l“Then he shall kill the goat of the sin offering that is for the people and bring its blood minside the veil and do with its blood as he did with the blood of the bull, sprinkling it over the mercy seat and in front of the mercy seat. 16Thus he shall nmake atonement for the Holy Place, because of the uncleannesses of the people of Israel and because of their transgressions, all their sins. And so he shall do for the tent of meeting, which dwells with them in the midst of their uncleannesses. 17 oNo one may be in the tent of meeting from the time he enters to make atonement in the Holy Place until he comes out and has made atonement for himself and for his house and for all the assembly of Israel. 18Then he shall go out to the altar that is pbefore the Lord and qmake atonement for it, and shall take some of the blood of the bull and some of the blood of the goat, and put it on the horns of the altar all around.

Hebrews 9:12

12he rentered sonce for all into the holy places, not by means of tthe blood of goats and calves but uby means of his own blood, vthus securing an eternal redemption.

Hebrews 10:4

4For wit is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
